On 22 March, SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming received Artyom Sharov, the General Representative of the State Development Corporation VEB.RF in China at the SCO Secretariat.
Artyom Sharov conveyed to Zhang Ming a message from VEB.RF Chairman Igor Shuvalov and told the Secretary General at length about the corporation's effort to promote the development of bilateral and multilateral trade and economic cooperation within the SCO, as well as to promote the implementation of joint investment projects with the SCO member states.
Zhang Ming praised the results of VEB.RF's chairmanship of the SCO IBC in 2019-2020.
The Secretary-General also expressed his regards and best wishes to Igor Shuvalov and confirmed the SCO Secretariat's readiness to provide every kind of support to VEB.RF State Corporation in deepening financial, investment and other promising kinds of cooperation in the SCO space.
